Californian White Sage is made from the white leaves of the Salvia Apiana plant and grows on the coast of California. It is a sacred herb which has been used by shamans of indigenous peoples in North America for centuries, for purification ceremonies. Proven by science to be antimicrobial, and known for killing airborne bacteria, sage is also known for clearing and cleansing spaces, objects and individuals of negativity and unwanted spirits. White Sage has a penetrating spicy smell that is relied upon worldwide.

All of our white sage is imported from its natural habitat in California, and is grown by Native Americans on a specialist nature reserve. As a result, our sage is ethically sourced, environmentally friendly and sustainable, all whilst providing fair trade.

How to Use:

1. Ensure external windows and doors are open, to allow ventilation and unwanted energies to leave.
2. Hold the sage bundle at a 45 degree angle and ignite one end.
3. Let it burn for a few seconds before blowing the flame out.
4. Gently waft the smoke around your home to clear surrounding energies and invite peace and positivity into the space. 
5. Use a bell, or clapping of hands, to encourage negative energies to disperse. Hold the smoking sage to all corners of your room, including against sizeable objects such as sofas, cupboards etc.
6. When finished, place the sage bundle in a bowl with the ignited tip down. It will  self-extinguish. To lengthen burn time, gently blow on the embers.
